Ingredients

 

  • 12 dried Chickpeas (about 2 cups), soaked in water overnight
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 3-5 cloves of Garlic
  • The sap of one lemon
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 -3/4 cup of Tahini (based on preference)
  • 1 cup of Cold Water

 

Directions

  1. In water, rinse your chickpeas for 12-24 hours, then remove them and clean them.
  1. With 3-5 cloves of raw Garlic, cook the baking soda and chickpeas.
  1. Cover the Garlic, chickpeas, and Baking Soda with water. Cook on manual high flame for 10-12 minutes.
  1. Let the importance continuously discharge for 10 minutes before breaking the peel.
  1. Boil and cook for another 40 – 120 minutes, the paste of chickpeas, Garlic, and baking soda to a large pot until the beans are tender and cover with water.
